are the 3.2 b7's not as popular to mod? or do you get more bang out of your dollar by modding a 2.0t? i dont see many 3.2 being modded. why?

More products are made for 2.0t because it is turbo charged and is easy to setup for more power. You don't see many 3.2 V6 modded because of the price to do so to run with a equally priced per mod 2.0t.

Try chipping/modding a stock naturally aspirated motor then do the same with a stock forced induction motor. The difference is significant, until you get into BIG money.

in addition to what has already been written, there are not as many aftermarket modification parts for the 3.2. If you are looking into modding a car for whatever your reasons go with the 2.0, you wont be disappointed.

its just not as mod friendly...simple as that.

its like mdodding the 4.2 V8. only a few things to REALLY do compared to 2.0

I live at 7220 feet elevation and the 2.0t makes more power up at this elevation than the V6, so everyone buys it.

And, obviously many people choose the 2.0T purely based on the lower sticker price when buying new, which translates into more 2.0T's in the used market as well.

If the 3.2 were the cheaper engine option from the factor, we would be seeing a lot more of them on the road.
