Printed Service/Repair Manual

I've searched and searched and can't find a printed service manual for the B7s. Is there one out there? It seems that Bentley stopped making the printed versions in 2001.

If I have to buy a digital copy, I at least want to be able to take it to a print shop and have it printed and bound but it doesn't seem like I can do that with the available digital manuals because they open from a program. Are there any PDF versions out there or am I stuck purchasing the CD and printing everything myself?

Well, you can get the Bentley CD and then print to PDF... but I don't know if you can print the whole thing or if you can only do one page at a time.

I gotta say, I have been looking for the same thing. I had the printed Bentley for my B5 and much preferred it to the CD. It's so nice to have the manual out with you in the garage to refer to when doing a big job. I don't like having my laptop out there, nor using it when my fingers are all grubby.

That's exactly why I want an actual manual. There really isn't one out there?

Yeah, I don't think there is a printed version. I have the CD version that doesn't run well (if at all sometimes) on my computer with Vista and isn't compatible with my Macbook. Such a headache [headbang]

Seriously. What the hell was Robert Bentley thinking? Bentley Publishers in Cambridge Massachusetts, if you are reading this, please print a manual for B7 A4's. Thank you.

Since they probably won't print a manual, you could always get something like this to protect your computer... I also want to know when the Vista patch is going to come out since I read somewhere they started working on it over a year ago.
