I just have this idea, so users can post what did they pay for the car with what options and what dealers etc etc. I think it will be interesting to see which dealers give discount. under invoice. over msrp?

$53,500 for S-tronic, Prestige with ADS and Phantom Black. Overseas mil sales program with no taxes

Said it before and I'll say it again. Unless guys are going to post up pics of their buyer's orders. It's all speculative.
But I'll chime in the only one to come through here sold for $1500 under MSRP plus the loyalty discount.

I gave the same dealership 240,000 dollars over the past 11 years, so price was not much of an issue. You have to start somewhere.

11 / 3 is almost 4. Maybe he buys a new car every 3 years with a price tag of 70K?

I went and saw my sales guy, considering upgrading from my '05 B6 A4. Spec'd one out:

Prestige, 6-speed, Sport Diff and CF Trim. MSRP = $53,600. I would be able to get it for $50,427 using the Audi Supplier Program through my company. Plus the loyalty discount.

What the hell did you buy?

pretty easy to do...just add up your last 4 cars

Makes you kind of sick when you really do the 'cost of ownership' calculations netting out service/gas/maintenance/depreciation

$1,000 over invoice, still working out the loyalty discount. So $500 under invoice.

???? this thread is not going well......

just post what you paid the exact price, the options etc etc, what financing did you get etc etc ... if someone posts 1000 over invoice, this is not helping

I want to second this comment as well. One thing I've learned from message boards is that you have to assume everyone's a liar. It usually winds up that way. I've never understood trying to impress someone you'll probably never really meet but.........

I was gonna get sport rear diff and driver assist instead of ADS, but realized that the prestige comes with 3G MMI, and that includes rear camera and parking sensors, so basically you're paying $900 for the side view mirror lights (not a great deal), and the Drive Select has the sport rear diff, and some other goodies, and since I was getting the car for $1500 off, I might as well go for it.

valis

The MMI package only comes with the camera and rear sensors on the premium plus. You have to get them separately with the driver assist package when you order the prestige pack. Totally goofy set up if you ask me and confusing as hell. Hopefully you still have time to change your order and add it.

Oh, good looking out man. The sales person was the one who told me about it just being the mirror lights, but he didn't seem too sure. I'll talk to him tomorrow and get it straightened out. It shouldn't be too late since I only placed the order this past week. Thanks for the heads up!

Add:
Driver Assist Pkg - $900

Hey everyone...if you guys are interested in an Ibis White/Black Nappa/Prestige/Drive Select/Drive Assist car, I have a friend who is a salesman and has a dealer-demo with 1900 miles on it. MSRP $60,075...will sell for $2500 off sticker (final price, non-negotiable). It also has those "Supercharged" badges on it. Not titled yet, and it is from an Audi dealer. Located in the Northeast.

Not meant to be spam, but I am posting this because:
1. This is an indication of market value.
2. I did not see a B8 S4 classifieds area.
3. People browsing this thread probably want a deal.

PM me for more info, serious people only. Remember non-negotiable, so it is what it is.

That's awesome, I wish I could find something like that in the US. I'm actually looking for one myself, and the one I posted is what I wanted-- but I don't buy used cars, it's not my style.

That being said if anyone has a deal on a NEW one, let me know :D

list goes on.

interestingly....tried to ask for full alcantara headliner interior but quattro Gmbh declined the request. They said have to crash the chassis and test the side airbags with an alcantara roofliner for approval and this was not avaliable for the S4 chassis program........the email further suggested that I order a R8,S8 or RS5 where alcantara roof liner would be available for customization.

the customizers futher suggested that i not choose the lane departure warning system with vibrating steering wheel as the vibrating wheel was only avaliable in 4 spoke and not the 3-spoke sports look.

imagine a S4 with a stock 4-spoke steering, that will be a world's first LOL!!!!

In my case it required visits to quite a few dealerships to find the best deal. I think it also worked in my favor that, after test driving the S4 and letting several dealerships check out my Lexus, I limited all further communication to email only until I had a firm and final deal.

IIRC there is about $4K of profit margin in a loaded Prestige with S-tronic. I offered my local dealer $2K off of MSRP which was accepted immediately, and this was last September. I also received a great trade-in value on my son's '07 Gti.

Has anyone been able to finance for 72 months?

When I bought my VW, initially they said no, but after trying to get better deals from other dealerships they said yes.

What about less than 3.9% interest?

Has anybody used the premier purchase option as stated in the AUDI website?

Your MSRP seems a little high for the options you're getting. Was there a markup?
My car (see sig for details) was around $52500 MSRP and I paid $50k flat, a little less than $1000 over invoice. (The 19" wheels were a swap in with another customer)

Additionally, rubber mats? As far as I know, there are only A4 rubber mats. Definitely interested if there are Audi Sport or S4 mats!
