What are my options here for piping in tunes from my iPhone, don't really want the full iPhone interface. Just need an Aux input.

Thank you.

If you don't care about an interface then you can just get the Audi OEM iPod adapter. If you want more integration and functionality, there is DICE and the 2Point5 SpecDock (I have this and love it). Search on all 3 of these and you'll find more info on them.

My 2008 did not have the Aux either. I know of 2 options:

This solution requires VagCom or a friend with VagCom. It works exactly as Daveman describes it.

If you want to use a solution without VagCom then the DIY in this thread will work:

Or is there a way to use the 6Disc some how and run an Aux line into it?

Had a stereo shop wire up an Aux input a la daveman for $60, turned it on with VAG-com, works great! Volume is slightly lower because using the headphone jack vs. the true line out of the dock connector, but no biggie. Simple, practical, inexpensive....works!
