B6 exhuast on B7?

for fwd exhaust systems, i found Magnaflow 16680 for 2005.5-2008 (2.0t) and Magnaflow 16600 for 2002-2005 (1.8t).

Obviously, the B6 version is about a hundred dollar+ cheaper than B7's

Will the B6 version fit fine on our cars? [confused] I mean, they are pretty much the same chassis right? [:d]

apparently they are supposed to fit. youre using the website where u make an offer then they email you back their lowest price right? they quoted me 579 shipped for the 16601.
