(I searched first, I swear)
I have not been able to find a good list of the actual differences on the s-line cars between the regular ones. I was also wondering if anyone has priced out what it would cost to simply buy a basic b7 and turn it into the s-line.
I am sure this has been hashed over before, if anyone could chime in with a link or a thread that would be wonderful.
Thanks.

Hey - i have been doing a lot of research on this
It would cost you 943 dollars if you bought the s-line kit from Deutche Telie Haus with a satin black front delete plate, a titanium grill, and bumper cover with washer nozzles. The shipping would have been around 100 dollars and the paint estimate i got was fucking outrageous - they wanted 800 for the thing painted (and that was my lowest offer) so i decided to pass this up.

Is the s-line an exterior only package?
If I understand correctly, there were some interior bonuses that went along with the s-line models as well.

The TOTAL s-line package was a couple things and if i miss anything i'm sure somebody will jump in:
Front bumper cover
Different grill (a little longer at the bottom - extends more below the filler plate)
Trunk had an integrated lip
The door sills had s-line written on them
The door blades had an s-line badge
The Front grill had an s-line badge
The steering wheel had an s-line badge
It wouldn't be worth it to do all of those. I would simply do an s-line conversion in the front bumper and thats it.

I'd just do the bumper conversion.

Thanks for the quick replies.
Another question: Is the S-line the same as the "sport" that I see in some sigs/ads?
How about the titanium package?
Thanks in advance![>_<]
You got to remember that the steering wheel also has triple stiching on it including the s-line badge. Also, don't forget the sport suspension that comes with the car. You would end up spending more money trying to convert it, when you could have bought one right off the bat. Like they said just put the front bumper and it will look nice.

Alright here's what the s-line changes:
Front Bumper
Front Grille
Side Skirts
Integrated Trunk Lip
Larger Door Blades
18" Wheels
Sport Suspension
S-Line on Door Sills
S-Line Badges all over
3 Pronged Steering Wheel
and the Titanium added on to that:
18" Titanium Colored 15 Spoke Wheels
Black Grille Frame
Black Exterior Window Trim
Black Interior Headliner
Black Interior Beltline Trim
and Black Roof Rails on Avants
Hope this clears a few things up.

Don't forget the nifty looking 6-speed shift knob... looks better than my non s-line :-(
I'm heading down the bumper conversion path right now. I will update with actual costs as I incur them, but my sense is if you're patient and look around there are deals to be had on the parts.

http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=273006
go to the last post it give u pricing for the front, sline or s4 door blades go for 450.00 not including paint, u can get them paint for 200 bucks at a good body shop
heres a link to where u can get door blades
http://www.purems.com/products/product.php/II=1510
and its pretty impossible to find a sline trunk so u have just put a spoiler on ur non-sline, what i did is just bought the cf dtm spoiler, and got it to fit on the non-sline

Don't forget the RS4 pedals added in 2008 as well. Because 2008 was the ultimate S-line.

S-line also has brushed aluminum trim (or piano black if you've got Titanium), perforated leather shift knob (for Tiptronic - not sure about 6 speed), slightly different rear valence, and 3-color stitching on the steering wheel.

i did just the front end conversion.. that alone, makes all the difference.
i paid $500 for the s-line bumper, the fog grilles, brushed rs4 grille, and cupra r lip. i then paid $175 for paint...
so $675 for the new front end which looks 100x better! so much more aggressive.

If you're just looking for a more aggressive front end, why not get the DTM bumper, It's more unique then the S-line and you can save yourself some money by not having to buy a new grille.

Not true, those 4 vent grills are not cheap! If you're doing the Sline conversion the center grill can be found for < $100, those DTM grills total out to $300+. Don't forget the CF lip which will set you back another $200, and that's for the ebay knockoff.
