So, this is what I want to purchase:

Think this will be of good quality? How damaged and then repaired are these bumpers usually?

Thanks!

I think you can find more on these guys somewhere in this forum.. I remember seeing a link to them before with some discussion about quality.

just realized you've seen those other threads because you've posted there. I think Heggi may be the only one with a story for us B7'rs on these?

Its the real deal from what I've seen (bumpers came off cars), and I'm willing to bet they do a good job of fixin em up.

DTM for $210..[o_o]

i ordered the s-line bumper from them...

they shaved the reflectors for $40...and i paid a total of $420 for the bumper, shipped.

upon arrival, the bumper had been damaged in shipping...i decided to just get the bumper from my local audi dealer, who gave me a great price on it.

however, prestigebumpers did give me a full refund and had the bumper shipped back under a "calltech" agreement...when something shipped by fedex, (prestigebumpers use fedex to do their shipping) is damaged, the company and fedex arrange to have it picked up and shipped back at no cost to the buyer.

Overall, my experience with prestigebumpers was pretty good, and their customer service, while not always good at returning phone calls, did rectify the problem and i was made completely whole when everything was said and done.

It depends what you want...When I realized I could get a brand new bumper from my local audi dealer for only $75 more than a used/refurbished bumper, the choice was easy. Also, when spending nearly $2k for a full s-line conversion...what's another $75?

I bought my s-line bumper from them. Still in my garage waiting to be installed. But everything looks ok. I noticed some little/minor things on the inside of the bumper where things where molded (or whatever they call it) back together. Nothing major at all. All tabs and brackets seem great.

got mine there. give em a call. they usually give out some better deals.

if i were to do it again, i would have just waited to find a painted one with the grilles. but i love how mine looks now.

x2 and they shaved the reflectors for $50 on mine too. Of course it's used, but outside prep looks good to me.
