If so why or why not
I'm on a budget, deciding whether if i really need the select or not.

i could be wrong, but i belive the oct 93 is select and 91 is not

i got the sps plus unit for 280 plus shipping i think from canyon racer in mission viejo. i bought it with the intention of fine tuning my engine but i havent got around to using it. the only im using the sps plus unit for is turning off my flash when i go to the dealer. I probably will never get around to fine tuning my engine so in hindsight, i should have just bought the regular sps unit.
