My mechanic changed the oil filter and seen some silver particles inside the filter,he said it was normal and ask me to change the oil every 5000km.Engine itself he said looks very good,no sludge and the engine is running within the parameters.Anyone else has this scare?...By the way the filter was a pita to remove,he does this for a living and he mentioned the design of the location is hard to reach.Im hitting the 85000km distance.

I'm no expert but that sounds far from normal. I have never seen that and I do all my oil changes. And yes it is a pita to reach/remove.

I've never seen any silver particles in used oil in any of my oil changes and I've done a few as well. They must have been quite visible to be noticed. Any photos of the oil or the bits you are talking about?
Might want to take a sample and send it to Blackstone Labs for analysis

I would be worried... Dealer changed my cylinder head because it was grinded due to bad oil / bad oil pump...
Now I change my oil every 7 000km instead of 15 000km to prevent this problem and the problem of our fuel pump follower.
