sorry nick dont really like it, kind of just looks like old cf, like what you would see on the hood of a 94 civic.... I wish it was more black than brownish. Clean job on the wrap though

it looks like they did a good job, but it does look slightly brown.. got any pictures in the sunlight?

i think it looks good - maybe get some pictures in sunlight? I see the brownish hue people are talking about, but I thought that was mostly due to poor lighting / wierd camera effect.

that's what I was about to say. if it was more on the smoked/black side I think it would be awesome. weird how its brownish like that

i think you should wrap your black pillar and your window trim too. that would look sick. plus i think you shoulda done the matte carbon fibre..there was a thread on here like last week and some guy had done it and it was prettttty hot. but all in all i think it looks good!

Wait so before they wrapped it, they didn't let you choose which color you wanted?
Can't wait to see the new roof!

well, it's not CF. it's a "cf look", so calling it a CF roof is... well... a lie. likewise, i wouldn't put an RS4 body kit and badge on my car, and call it an RS4.
but regardless, i think it looks clean, and suits the look of your car. perhaps get some cf side mirrors and a cf trunk lip to complete the package.

its comming off, no one makes a cf roof for our cars, an this isnt like a rs4 badge, it was an alternative to blacking out the roof, was thinking it would turn out better more black didnt work so its getting taken off, i have a dtm rear spoiler, i was thinking about the Osir mirrors but there 400 bucks so have to wait on them

So...you've decided to take it off instead of exchanging for a darker looking one?

there is no darker looking one, the issue is with the white/gray in the vinyl, when its with the black it just looks brown at angles, and thats the only one they have so probably go with a glossy black on it, just so it looks clean

it's a sticker, isn't it? [rolleyes]

this is still totally different than putting a badge on my car , no one makes a cf roof for our cars, if they had a true cf roof for our cars i would have it on my car by now, but they dont so this is the only other alternative to get the look of cf, im not saying i have a v8 instead of a four banger

Plenty of people use CF wrap/vinyl, I don't see what the problem is.

That's my point. You've got a nice ride, so why put on that faux crap? It really cheapens the car and gives it that ricey look. You were on your way to turning it into a clown car.
ElCapitan464

well if it turned out good it would have looked sick, but it looks cheap so just going to do gloss black, just so it looks clean

It actually looks perfect the way it is right now that is why I changed my old one with this from 3M...The old one looked as a vinyl very easily, however this one looks definately real...I did my interior trims as well, and not one has said change it, it looks bad...Especially those who didnt like the old one...
So I say go for it if you are thinking about it...
Test it on a small piece and see for yourself...
If I can help in any way by taking more pics, please let me know, and I will be glad to help you...[up]
