flywheel has 150k on it, was resurfaced at 135,000 miles... Is there a spec on when I can still resurface it vs. replace? does it look okay?

pressure plate has 15,000 miles on it. The only thing that worries me about the pressure plate is what looks like a hot spot in the center of it, what could this be from? Also, is the discoloration from the throwout bearing normal?

the only reason I'm so worried about making sure my setup is ok after only 15,000 miles is that when I launch at ~4k with a chipped 1.8, my southbend stg 3 setup (this setup) slips. It's not supposed to do that, and I don't know why it is.

thanks [wrench]

Not sure on the FW or the discoloration from the TOB, but that pressure plate surface has a helluva lot of heat spots....also odd that there is one little section that you can still see the grooves clear as day. I would be more soncerned as to what the clutch disk looks like. Unless you are replacing the disk.

Yeah I'm not really sure what's up with that, here are some pictures of my clutch disk that I already took... I'lll get some better, high res ones later today showing the face.

I sent pictures of the clutch disk to Andy @ southbend and he said it looks great and gave me the wear spec of .220" thick compressed. I checked it and it's around .27".

That very last pic makes it very easy for me to tell you this, that thing is not fit to go back into the car...

That's what I was thinking, and that's the picture I sent to southbend and they said it is fine.

Well the choice is yours my friend... No way that would go back into a customer build of mine without the customer being notified that I strongly suggest replacing the friction disc and a resurfacing of the pp and fw at a bare minimum...

Yeah, I agree on the clutch disk, I just wanted to get some second opinions to confirm.

What do you think about the pressure plate? why would it have that one section where the wear looks normal and then hot spots on the rest of it?

Not sure, I'm not into the technical details of what makes a pp look like that... If it was a bearing I could tell you how it wore how it did, but to me, that is just another normal looking pp...
