I don't think "everyone" wants it but I traded my wood today for it because it goes better with the silver and black theme I have going on in the rest of my car now. In fact, I think I've see more threads from those trying to unload or trade their fishscale for something else.

yea that's what I meant, most don't want it.

I personally don't really dig the wood trim either, but it does add class :D maybe in an A6 or A8..

I didn't want the fishscale (since bmc333 has mine now) but as he said, it's really about the look in the car. It looks better in his car than it did in mine and I like the wood interior look much better. If I had some of the interior upgrades that he has then it would have flowed better with mine as well. :)
