I just recently raised my boost from 16psi to 19psi and while I am driving everything is fine. It boosts fine pulls hard and feels good. The problem I am having is when I come to a stop the car almost wants to shut off. It actually shut off on me while I was in the middle of an intersection but i got it started it again. I scanned it with my Vag-com and got no codes or anything. I have been running the forge 004 for a while and it never did this. Could me raising the boost have any effect on this? Any ideas would definetely help. Thanks

In gear coasting to stop or neutral coasting to stop? I have the same issue when coasting to stop in neutral. I think its because of the air turbulence on my 4" maf. When you blow on the filter parked at idle the rpms bounce. Could be your problem.

Is your filter under your frame rail, near the ground? Mine is in the engine bay right next to the turbo and it still does it, but im not running belly pan.

If I am in gear and slowing down I will put it in neutral about 1100 rpms. I have my filter going straight down off the turbo just right above the ac compressor. I am also not running a belly pan.

So it only happens when you put it in neutral? Or also when in gear? Im not clear.

Mine will do it when im in neutral and going over ~20mph or so

Sorry about the confusion It does it when I shift into neutral coming into a stop. Just about the same as you.

I have the forge 004 that is. But if it was the bov wouldn't it have happened before?

I have this happen to me with the A/C on sometimes at full blast. I figured it was a Vacuum leak and it fixed the problem.

I had that same issue when I was stock also with the ac but it never shut off. My vac is fine though.

Each spring is rated differently. Try swapping in a firmer spring or adding shims.

To the Forge? It sounds alot loouder now eventhough I only raised the boost a few psi. But I will try that.

But where is your maf located and how far from your filter is it?

You might want to data log the maf readings and get the car to do this, your maf readings might be dropping way too low.

I am running a 90 off the turbo then the maf and filter its not too long. I will log the maf

I figured the issue out I had changed the inlet I had made for one that was shorter and had more room internally. So I swithced it back out to the one I was using before 3" inner diameter all the way to the turbo and did not have any issues at all with stalling.

I had this same problem. Turns out I had a rather large vacuum leak. What are your HG readings?

*edit* never mind I see you got it solved.
