Given about a $1200 budget, should I put on a ...

1) AWE FMIC

2) AWE Quad Tip Exhaust

3) Set of Bilstein PSS9 (Very Slightly Used)

I have APR Stage 1 flash right now as my only real performance mod and im looking to add something extra. Thanks

quad tip exhaust ftw! but also u should consider going stage 2. i know for revo its just a test pipe and a new flash(assuming u hav a new dv). which is actually cheaper( my dealer quoted me at 500)

For $1200 I'd do all of the following:

RS4 sway
034 HFC
Suspension?
drop-in or CAI?

maybe the FMIC, it's a lot of money for something you don't really need until stage II

I have an 034 Motorsports HFC, and attempting to install that has been my calling for the last 2 weeks, however the tiptronic transmission doesn't leave much maneuver room, even when lowering the subframe. I just gave up thinking that if i somehow manage to get out the downpipe hanger bolt, there is no way that im going to get that spring loaded bolt back in. Im just going to have that professionally done and end my frustration. Im looking for one more option. Obviously completing the exhaust would be sweet, but my body roll has been seeming more and more these days, especially on highway turns. Still im torn and looking for other input

AWE is LOUD! Also, if you're looking for performance get an HFC and maybe a cheaper exhaust or FMIC

well, i would save up to go over budget with this: instal the hfc and go stage2 then get coilovers and the rs4 rearsway- ur handling will be pretty damn good then. but by going stage2, ull have a ton more fun in turns and such with that extra added power

Check that, PSS9s were accidentally marked A4 while they were actually S4. I guess to stay in price range it would probably be STaSIS Street Sports.

This is easy. Definitely dump it. For the same cost as the others, you're getting vastly improved performance and looks.

the 034 motorsports group buy will give you a huge dual SMIC for 750, then you could buy their highflow cat and still have a couple bucks for the install.

I vote for the PSS9s. Just because the stance if very important. Then you'll have some left over money for other mods such as a grille, taillights, vent pod, tint etc.

I have to agree with this. The AWE exhaust with a testpipe produces the best tone IMO.

no point in having a front mount intercooler, testpipe, exhaust and so on while your car is looking like a 4x4.

I'd lower it first... I was in the same position. I did the suspension upgarde and no complaints. Car handles like a dream and is a lot more fun to drive now. Next i'll be getting the computer upgrade.

Ok so coilovers seem like the way to go. I was initally thinking PSS9s, but they are significantly more expensive than STaSIS Street Sports and more expensive then Vogtland and KW V2s. I know that there are alot of comparison threads but they don't neceassarily have all the answers or compare all of these. I don't ever plan on tracking the car, but I would definitely classify myself as an aggressive driver who will work out the suspension. Which one would be best for me/what are peoples opinions on their set ups.
