Anybody know of a source to get 16" steel wheels for the B7? This is ideally what I would do, but I don't know the fitment of our cars very well. Any other cheap options?

Do 16's even fit on a AWD B7?, or will only some fit? I have a 2.0T Quattro

TIA

Have you checked out TireRack.com? You enter your car info (they even account for s-line & TPMS) and they give you sizing options and recommendations for winter wheel/tire packages.

I looked for a little bit and couldn't find any. I ended up using the stock split 5 spoke 17"s, which you can find used for under $100 a wheel.

I had done some searching as well, tirerack does not have any 16's. I figured I could find some older OEM 16's , but not sure if they all fit.

Looks like the base models might have come with 16's, hopefully I'll find a good option.

Why the need for 16"s? My 17"s work fine, and you know that you won't have any fitment issues.

Nice winter setup. IL does not allow studded tires. I guess our streets are bad enough without the studs tearing them up any more.

I put a set of 16" Sport Edition F7's on my B7 Avant.
Got them from TireRack.

Good Info, thanks guys, sound like there are some options out there.

{PMS}fishy those look like a real nice winter set up. I don't want to run studs, and I have never been overly impressed with 17" snows (w/o studs) compared to much thinner smaller diameter tires. So if I can that's the way I'd like to go.

Thanks for the help

I think there is a 16" steel wheel out of Europe, but I would just recommend picking up a set of stock 17" from someone.
