I need help with a code that will not go away no matter what I try.

I have a 2001 Audi A4 1.8T Quatto 5 speed with a GT28RS setup, 440cc injectors, walbro 255 lph fuel pump, and the BT-415CC file from Unitronics.

The CEL I am getting is P1137 (details below):
17545 - Fuel Trim: Bank 1 (Add): System too Rich
P1137 - 35-00 - -

Per Mike-2ptzero's suggestion (link (http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?p=4147238)) I have logged block 032 while driving around to see when the CEL came on. After doing this for a while, I found that it came up during start up (in between runs 5 and 6... see the excel sheet).

Here are some logs I took from block 032 (and 115) so that someone can help me figure out what the hell is going on.

I'm running on a MAFless file [=(]

I wish it was that easy.

I also checked for boost leaks as well to see if maybe that was giving me grief. No such luck, system is holding 20 psi.

1137 is also for fuel pressure, check you fuel pump, etc.

PS I have the same code, but I have a MAF (thinking thats the problem).

Yeah I was going through the items listed in the Ross-Tech wiki (link (http://wiki.ross-tech.com/index.php/17545/P1137/004407)) and I am just trying to knock them off one by one.

Possible Causes
* Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor faulty
* Fuel Pressure Regulator faulty
* Fuel Injector(s) faulty
* Oxygen Sensor Control faulty
o Oxygen Sensor(s) faulty
* Evaporative Emission (EVAP) System faulty

Possible Solutions
* Check Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor (MAFless file so I'm guessing this is out.)
* Check Fuel Pressure Regulator (I have no clue how to check this short of just replacing it.)
* Check Fuel Injector(s) (I checked these about a month ago when the issue first came up and I replaced the top & bottom gaskets on them as well.)
* Check Oxygen Sensor Control (No clue what to check here.)
o Check Oxygen Sensor(s) (Just replaced the primary o2 sensor when this issue came about... no dice unfortunately.)
* Check Evaporative Emission (EVAP) System (Not sure how to check this but I fail readiness for EVAP currently due to a screw up when Unitronics flashed my ECU... which they refuse to fix btw)

Ideas?

Holy necrobump. 2009... that was a blast from the past.

The fix for this was to have Unitronic re-flash my ECU to fix the EVAP readiness issue. They eventually gave in to me calling them daily to get it done & they had me go to a local (kinda local... Jersey) dealer for Uni tunes and have it re-flashed. Worked like a charm after that. Hope that helps to give closure to this thread.

What is the EVAP readiness issue?

As I have now have the Unitronics file, and just redid all my EVAP lines days ago.

The one highlighted in bold. I needed a reflash to fix it. They forgot to code it out as specified in the original tune build sheet. After the re-flash, the EVAP readiness nonsense was coded out and no more issues.

[:D] I should say, not which line or graph in your charts is it, but what does EVAP readiness mean?

It's an I/M monitor that's standard on every OBD2 vehicle. It's a system that meters fuel vapor into the engine via a purge valve (goes tick tick tick, mounted on or near the air box, yadda yadda) If that purge valve fails and is stuck open or on some whack ass duty cycle, it will richen up your afr's with plenty of fuel vapor straight from your fuel tank. Neato.

Thanks!

Now that I think of it, I haven't heard that tick in a very long time....I thought I remember buying this car in ~2004 and it did have that sound for a couple years. Now, on WOT it's pretty flippen rich no matter what injectors, turbo, or software I get.
