Hey Everyone,

I am purchasing a BBK brake set from a B5 S4.

I currently have a 2000 2.8 Quattro. Do I need to change anything like the hubs because I have the 2.8 platform?? Or should the brakes designed for a B5 S4 bolt straight on??

Any help would be great.

Thank you.

You'll need the uprights from a s4 as well. The calipers won't bolt up to the stock a4's however you won't need new axles since you already have the larger ones from the 2.8. Those will fit the s4 hubs perfectly.

So all I need is S4 uprights, hubs and I should be dandy!

Anything else??

Well most of the time when ya buy used spindles(uprights) they come with the hubs. And as long as you have the calipers, pads, and s4 rotors. You should be set. Just swap the uprights over then bolt the brakes on and you'll be good to go. Don't forget to bleed them when you're all done or you won't be going anywhere ha
