01 A4 2.8 SC manual

When under load in 1st/2nd/3rd (although usually only 1/2) at ~2k-2.5k RPM's the car will lose all power for a half second and throw me against the seatbelt, then regain it and continue climbing through RPM's all the way to redline. Coilpacks may be it, but I'll be checking them tomorrow.

Also, sometimes when coming to a stop the car will just not idle and die when I stop. This usually happens when I throw it in neutral and coast to a stop.

Ideas?

Have you vag'd the car? did you get your a/f issues sorted out?

It sounds like a spark issue... either ECM or coilpacks maybe. I can bring my VAG out on sunday if you need it.

Yeah that'd be awesome if you could, I'm hoping it's coilpacks. Need to check later today.
