Looks good! Not to dark! I hate it when some people go ape sh*t with this stuff. But it looks really good on your car.

Looks good. I Hate when people black out their headlights. So the film went all the way to the edges? i ask this because when i ordered it for my fogs, the piece did not cover my whole fog light and they told me that that is how it is designed. [down]

Looks great. What color is that? Looking on their site I see "tint" and "gunsmoke". I'm guessing "tint"? Thinking about getting this and matching tails for the Avant.

yeah everything went well, the film went right to the edges, and the kind i got was gunsmoke, i read on the forum that tint was a lot darker. The first headlight i did took awhile figuring out how to put it on, but the second one was really quick. the light output is still pretty good, and its less yellowy ( i have halogens)
Also i have to get the plate filler, i took off the plate the other day it looks bad with the outline for the plate.
does anyone have that swift hidaway plate

Nice one - how does it affect the headlight output?

headlight output is fine, it does stop a tiny but of light but hardly noticeable.

You should be pretty close to riverside audi. You could try there for the basic gray plate filler. They gave me mine for my non s-line for free, because they had them lying around.
The tint looks really good btw.

Where did you get model specific film? I have only seen sheets you have to custom cut. Yours looks really good! The dark tint makes most cars look cheap IMO, yours is just the right shade to look sexy. Also, is there a how to/DIY thread on this? I would imagine getting the tint to really adhere to the light without kinks may be tricky, is it at all like window tint?

Hey where did you order this?

theyre minght be a DIY on this but its really really easy. i ordered it from laminx http://www.lamin-x.com/Audi-A4-S4-06-08-Headlight-Covers-p/a008.htm and it is precut they give you the headlight and fog light films. they also include a mini spray bottle and a thick plastic card that you use when you put it on. the directions come with it also on their website they have a instructional video on how to put it on. it took me 15min. the shade i chose was gunsmoke. it looks great in person i had no problems with it the order came within a few days. also it isnt like window tint it is vinyl and easy to apply
