i have a light silver metallic car with matte black wheels. my choices: red, blue, yellow, or gold.
red is a little played out but always looks pretty clean.
blue seems like it'll flow pretty clean and same with yellow
gold is something that you don't see much of(at least i don't) and i think it'll look decent with a silver car/black wheels.
what do you guys think?

Black. Everything else will look trashy.

I dont think gold will look too bad actually... I mean some G35's come with gold brembos, and those look smaller than our calipers... I would do black though

Yeah but they are actual Brembos. Painting stock carriers anything but black just looks cheesy. Especially because they will never look smooth like BBK's, they will always have a roughness to them.

i have matte black wheels and my car is silver..i did the rears black and the fronts blue instead of the typical red, which i use to have. people comment about the blue more then they did red. to each his own..

I would never do it but if he really wanted to I don't think it would look as ricey as red..

I would go for either black or dark gray, like the Ti wheels.

yeah, do black for sure. i did red on mine, which looks great, but up close it looks iffy. and i'm trying to get a unique colored set of wheels which i don't think will look good at all with red calipers.

thanks for all the input guys. i was talking about this with a few buddies of mine and most of you are right about the stock calipers not being smooth so i'll probably go with black. i dont feel the need for a BBK since this is my daily driver and not a track car. thanks again!

Glow in the DARK!!! or Sparkles...
I painted them red. They looked fine. Nobody complemented on them so I guess they didn't look good enough, haha. I would be over it honestly. Mow a couple lawns and start a Brembo piggy bank.

I went with red to match the whole red/black theme and contrast with the wheels. They look really bright in the picture because that was when they were still wet... They're usually more dull due to brake dust, but I'm happy with how they came out.
