I'm putting together my bottom end that the machine shop tore apart, and I'm kind of stuck...

mystery bearing:

oil squirter orientation... is this correct? Do they need a washers anywhere?

and finally, could somebody post a picture of your crank with the trigger wheel attached, or a diagram of how it all goes together?

bearing look familiar?

Yeah, that would be your pilot bearing. As for the squirter, no idea.

Okay, cool. I guess I'll need to source a new pilot bearing...

This picture helped with the squirter orientation:

that is how they go, and the squirters dont have any washers on them, just the bolt and the squirter itself bolts into the block. depending on what you are building the engine for, you may have to add a 2 or 3mm thick washer to the #4 squirter. thats only if you are using a larger stroke crankshaft.

looks like they destroyed the pilot bearing on the crank when they removed it.

also make sure those oil squirters are CLEAN before you reinstall them. If they are dirty and get clogged they wont spray oil onto the piston skirts to clean them and they could potentially raise oil pressure causing other issues.
