I have a 2001 A4 B5 and i wanted to replace my stereo console with a Navigation package, but I dont know where to look, or what is good for the price. I'm looking to spend roughly 600 or so, depending. Any input would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

Good luck !
Any of the decent name brand head units with Garmin or similar nav packages will set you back at least a grand. The Kenwood DNX series is just one example. There are some far east knock-offs of the RNS-E system that are a bit less, and if you are lucky you can pick up a used RNS-E on ebay for a bit less as well.

You may be able to find used equipment on ebay in your price range. If you just want the nav and are happy with the rest of your stereo, buy a Garmin unit for a couple of grant and be done with it.

Look around for a pioneer avic d3 you might be able to pick one up for that price. It's an awesome unit.
