i think i got the wrong piping for my frount mount

so i tried to install the gsg fmic today. the last piece that goes to the throttle was impossible. it was 3 inches and not 2.5 also none of the couplers would fit. in this thread the pipe leading to the throttle is an S bend http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=227607&highlight=gsg+fmic . the pipe i got is a simple L. for the people running the gsg front mount. is yours like the picture above? or am i missing a piece? i left my car at my friends house and i really need it running tomorrow. thanks in advance

it shouldn't be 3. mine is 2.5

I'm sure the piping should be 3" but you should of gotten a coupler that reduces in size (3" to 2.5"
