AUDI RADIO: Hey Guys, i need an answer quick before monday please.

i have a friend that had an accident yesterday morning , he has a 2001 audi a4,and the car is scrap in the front, he is willing to give me the symphony radio but i have a 1999..

what i want to know, is that .. if i take the 2001 audi a4 radio and like everything that is in the radio dash( air control, radio and whats behind) will it fit and is the plugs the same...???? is it possible to swap it into the 99?[confused][confused]

I couldn't honestly tell you if it will fit or not, but as far as the wiring, even if the plugs are not the same, and i doubt they are, do what i did and run new speaker wire, a wire to the fuse box for power, and a ground. takes an afternoon and sounds much better anyway.
