So recently i started a thread about a weird noise I was hearing when making u-turns and backing up into spaces:
here: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=298047

People have linked me to similar problems noted in the thread:
here: http://audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=289793

Since I cannot reproduce the problem "on-call", as in, whenever i want to i can as its not constant i wasn't sure if they will road test and try themselves. I have told them about the audizine threads and they simply told me not to believe those. They eventually found some TSB which sounded like it could fix the problem. TSB of (2016681/6)

BUT nope, i still hear the noise at times when backing up with a turn, or making u-turn, but to make things more interesting I now hear noises when engaging the brakes. It seems like an old spring of some sort that gets compressed and depressed and makes a creaking noise of some sort. When i press the brake pedal harder it just keeps on creaking. It just sounds wrong for a car still under factory warranty.

This problem i CAN replicate so it wont be a problem when i go to the dealer. Just annoying as hell to have to keep coming back to the same place for the same issue. This will be the second time they try to "fix" it.

Do you guys have any ideas? Should i go back to the same dealer? I'm thinking yes since they did the TSB and i could bitch them out. [headbang]

Bring it back to the same dealer and now that you can replicarte it, ask the SA or someone he designates to come with you on a short test drive so that you can show them what the problem is. Once they hear it with you in the car, they will know exactly what you are talking about and the chance of success of a fix will be greatly enhanced.

^^ x2. have the service advisor or the tech which will be working on the car ride with you until you duplicate BOTH concerns. even if it takes a while to get the intermittent one, it would be worth it just so they know exactly what you are talking about.

Don't get too upset at them that they didn't fix it the first time. A customer with an unreproducable problem is probably the hardest thing they have to do. And they just can't afford to spend hours upon hours trying to figure out what you were talking about. I don't even bring things in anymore until I can reproduce the problem on demand. My fix success rate has been horrible without being able to show the adviser or tech the issue when I drop the car off.
