take your stock air box, open it, turn on the engine, and rev it.....that's how loud the evoms intake sounds

Yes, it's significant. The car actually sounds turbo'd.

Power wise.... so minimal you have to be on crack to feel a difference. Go get a regular cone filter and makeshift a heat shield. Cost me $25 for everything and I get the same results!

can i add in another question ??
i have 6 spd automatic.. so when accelerating and changing gears, do you hear the woosh diverter valve sound??
just wanted to know before buying one..

Yes, I have a manual and its music to your ears! Do it! Probly find a cheap one on the classifieds.

or go to checker/autozone what have you, and buy a universal cone filter, two couplers, and a 60 degree or 90 degree pipe and make one yourself. this three hundred dollar BS from carbonio and shit is pissing me off. why do people buy those? its the same thing if you do it yourself and it costs like max 65 bucks...

yeah, i tried to make one by myself, but the thing that stopped me was the.. maf sensor adapter. How did other people make their custom intake..? i need the specific instructions... Obviously i don't want to spend 300 bucks just for the sound, but those parts that come with the kit is hard to make as custom and take times..
