Thanks for the post..... on our website we will note any "OE" fitments for the tire if they apply (see link). While neither Yokohama nor Mercedes will tell us what the differences between the OE and non OE design, we always assume that there is enough of a difference that the two models should not be mixed on the same axle to be safe. Michelin has several OE fitments with both the PS2 and Energy MX4, as does Goodyear with the RSA and Conti with the ProContact.
