they suck. I wouldn't. There's one on the car I just got and its all broken and leaky.... its currently held closed by a screw, 2 nickels and a penny.

I dont on the Audi, but I do on my jeep and camaro. I like them personally and with a turbo car they would probably sound BA!

As long as its not a POS one that is held together with 2 screws.... I think it could be sweet, but I have yet to hear one in person.

ive read about these & seen some people running them. I cant see bc im at work but there should be some videos of the valve in action.

Yeah, that's actually the reason why I'm redoing the entire system haha. I've rubbed through my flexpipe completely. So.....I'm building a system that will hold the exhaust up higher and....be really quiet until I want it not so quiet.

Will do, thanks.

i was...still am....looking to get one of these for my exhaust. i have to get it welded together anyways.. so i figured i would get one of these bc it seemed like the perfect time but i dont know if its worth it on a KO4 2.5in exhaust

time will tell....

just a little edit...i've never ripped off the exhaust dump only the QTP flange that bolts to it [headbang]

Any pics where yours is mounted? I'm hoping like hell it will fit just after the DP and before the flexpipe.

I had mine located at the first muffler on my borla exhaust (Had it replacing it).

I put the muffler back on because it was slightly loud with just one muffler and no cat for the street, when I went stage 3. It was also just way to loud completely open, Heard that it sounded like a truck, in a bad way.

I may put it back on when I put on a cat, but until then im at 2 mufflers.

when you had it mounted, was that the highest you could put it? I'm not sure how low you are and if I'm lower this could spell disaster lol.

ahh my bad - those arnt mine pics either. id have to look around but i dont think hes lowered at all, at least in those pics.

if the motor actuator was shorter or on an angle or something the whole unit could go a little higher. if your really interested, id talk to the company & maybe they can make you a custom mounted setup so you never have to worry about it catching anything.
