We're not working on an iPhone specific app, but rather a slimmed-down mobile version of the site. That's what the site you mentioned above has done, it's not an app. Our site's a tad larger though, so it's a pretty big project...

That would be excellent as well! Any time frames? You're correct on the mobile site that audiforum did, bad choice of words on my parts, its def. not an app, but they've optimized it for an iphone.
In any case, can't wait on the mobile site here![up]

Right on Anthony [up]
I can't imagine how much work goes on behind the scenes. You run by far the best forum on the internet [up] It's not riddled with ads, very clean layout and friendly administration.
Just want to say thanks for providing this site to us.

Yes and it's a trend that will only continue to increase. Looks like we're already getting about 3.5% of our traffic from iPhones alone. A mobile version of AZ is a must, and in development now.

Hehehe...I guess I'm one of those 3.5%-ers while at work. How'd you figure that number out, is there some sort of "cookie" iphones leave behind when they browse through the site?
When you say slim-down AZ for mobile platforms, thats not affecting laptop users to is it?

It's a part of our analytics software.
And you will get the slimmed-down version when directing your browsers to audizine.mobi, so audizine.com will not be directly affected.

There are some generic phpBB iPhone apps out there in the App Store that will work with AZ, and any other forums you may be on.

Search the App Store for 'phpBB' or 'forums'. There was a free version of "Forums" but it looks like it isn't available now. In any case, I can tell you that "Forums" works with Audizine.
