how do I contact the Admin to get approved for attachments??

I'm trying to attach photo's and the thread rules state that I do not have authorization to add attachments? How do I contact the admin to get this corrected?

To post and share images on the Audizine Forums you need to first upload them to the Web, such as our Audizine Gallery (http://www.audizine.com/gallery). Once uploaded you simply copy and paste the Image Path (URL to the pic) into a Post or Thread.

When making a new post you can click the little pic button and it will open a new window for you select the photo(s) you want to share from your Audizine Gallery or to paste in the image path if hosted elsewhere. It'll write the necessary code for you. When done it will look something like this: http://www.audizine.com/gallery/image_path.jpg

You can also use an "image hosting" website such as Photo Bucket or Image Shack, but most don't allow outside image posting/sharing and you will be left with a broken link. That's why it's best to use our Audizine Gallery.

Why when I look at my posting rules it states that I "may not" add attachments? I have tried your recommended approach and it doesn't work for me. Thanks for your help to resolve this. I never have been able to post a photo.

Adding attachments is not the same thing as posting photos. Anyone with an active Audizine account can post photos on the forums.

When I go into "My Photos" and click on the picture it does nothing. The photo downloads into my pictures okay but when I click on the photo I get no response. I believe I am following correct instructions here?

Now that you have photos uploaded to your Audizine Gallery, try clicking the "insert image" icon (http://www.audizine.com/forum/images/editor/insertimage.gif) when typing up a new post. It should bring up a window to allow you to select the pics from your Gallery that you want to insert into your post.

When the window pops open, I go to the selected photo and click on it and nothing happens. I tried this with a couple photos and the same thing. It comes back at the bottom with "error on page". Looks like I have a technical problem? Do we have tech support of any kind? As admin, are you able to go into my user id and try it yourself? Thanks for helping. I would like to get this fixed.

umm Admin, I'll test my uploader and see if I am having this problem this user is reporting. Rzundel, what OS and browser are you using?? Do you have AIM? if so maybe I can do a video chat and look at see where you are having a problem. Also in the off chance you have a apple we can do iChat and accomplish the same thing. PM me or post up. We will get it figured out together

Okay, I am not having said problem but let me try and help explain the procedure better.

When you open the photo poster by clicking on the "insert image" icon (http://www.audizine.com/forum/images/editor/insertimage.gif) you get a new window Correct? If not try unblocking popups.

Now you are going to click the image you want to post. It should automatically input the correct vB code to post the image

Then you would close the window and click post.

Okay, I think I got it figured out. I tried this from my work computer and it works. I must have a popup blocker or something on my home system because it is not working. Hope I can figure it out. Thanks guys for your help! Your directions were dead on. It was problems on my end.

Seems we're having issues with the feature on certain machines. It's a new feature so we're still working out the bugs. If all else fails, simply go into your Gallery (http://www.audizine.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=33259) and right click the image to copy the image path (URL of the photo), then manually paste it into a post.
