So its been awhile since I posted on my 2008cc stroker build. I know some will say that this is for the VW or Passat forums, but I've gotten so much help from both the B6 and the B5 Audizine forum I wanted to update you all. You all have been awesome helping me out!!!
Progress is moving now, been months out due to crazy misfortunes like the original crank balancer having a heart attack!! He's alive and well, but it was like months before anyone knew what happened and the shop owner/builder could pick up the crank/flywheel to get another shop to balance it. The turbo that's on in the pixx is the GT28R that we will break the engine in with and to dyno/log to see the difference in output between the stock 1.8T/cams configuration and the stroker 2L/cat 3658 cams, PandP, port matching, full 3" exhaust setup. She put down a little over 248whp on the original setup, so I'm anxious to see what the gains are on the build. After that, we'll swap in the GT3076R and see how much we can get from her on pump, then pump with w/m!!!! Here is the page to the pixx and progress of the build, I'm sorry to send you to another forum, but the shop that's doing the build has all the pixx hosted on this site http://forums.ncdubs.org/showthread.php?t=14360 and I know that the turbo is like, FIRE ENGINE RED, but since it won't be the permenant one, I was practicing my painting skills!!!
I'll keep you all posted as i chase 500hp (crank that is...not wheel hp, although I almost bit on a 35R!!!)
