those wheels are so clean looking, tempting to go the same route. The Koni's working out any better for you? Your stance looks great, hope its starting to ride that way too!

hey man! Definitely go for a set - the 710's look unbelievable on our cars.

I had it raised a tiny bit about 6 days ago. I was sort of pissed when i picked it up because it looked so high. Then at the end of the second week of having them on, they finally settled to a perfect stance - got them aligned and all is well:) You can get your fingers in about half way on each side. I gave it a good thrashing around some back roads the other day and there was no scrapage whatsoever!

Again you make yourself look stupid... And it was posted a few posts before yours. It's a Porsche factory stopwatch to log lap times. When are you going to be heading back to the B5 forums? I think your Visa has run out in these parts...

That certainly would be a classy looking boost gauge! The dial reminds me of a Brentling Navitimer. Beautiful cars [up]

Everyone and there moms mom has VMR's (good thing for Velocity Motors). None the less, those wheels are meant for YOUR car. Nice choice with the finish as well.

what's the ground to fender height you're at right now?

ggg20t
06-21-2009, 09:44 AM
Hey guys, thanks for the comments! My ground to fender is almost exactly 25 inches all around. I think the one rear wheel is like 24.8.

Even though everybody has these VMR's, i just don't mind because of the way they look. They grab everybody's attention and i get plenty of great comments on them.

What do you guys think of a cupra lip in the front? To cheap looking?

I'm open for suggestions

Hyphy

Get the cupra lip..

ggg20t
06-21-2009, 09:46 AM
btw - glad you guys like my boost gauge - its pretty sick. As you can see it goes up to about 60PSI ... i have to replace my turbo every week.

^^ i don't know man. If i could get a sick deal on a DTM or s-line bumper, i would probably go that route....

You can take off the cupra lip and put it on the s-line bumper whenever you get it..[up]

you are right..you guys just have it in for me since the other day...its apparent because you will talk shit to me for saying its a clock, which it basically is,but refrain from saying anything to the guy who said boost gauge...it looks nothing like a boost gauge, but whatever....SORRY

jonjon - i'll take more pics for ya soon. These things are seriously sexy on a black Audi.

I am running OEM audi brakes! haha i just spent about 5 hours on the front and 3 hours on the backs painting them with 2 different size paint brushes. Each one has about 4 coats on it so they shine. The paint settled so nice - - absolutely no brush strokes. I get asked a lot what kind of brakes they are haha. You would be surprised how big our front calipers are. now i just need to get rid of those brake dust spewing pads to keep m rims clean!

Perfect pair of cars man.

The sport chrono is in no way shape or form a clock. It's a stopwatch only blackedoutaudi. Been selling them for over 4 years now : )

Great car. Rims, stance, painted calipers, everything in flowing BUT... The non sline bumper doesn't give the look it deserves. I am in the same damn situation myself.

06-24-2009, 10:41 AM
Thanks for the compliments!!

Charles - i'll be putting up some more pictures soon

TH85 - i don't know man, i am definitely digging those new VMR titanium reps, they are gorgous, but these rims stand out so much and really bring a unique characteristic to the car. The titanium reps look so good, but i always strived to make the car look a bit different from stock

Adub - damn man, i know how you feel. I have been kept up at night searching the zine for a DTM or s-line bumper but that stuff is just so expensive and its sort of rare to find them in the classifies in black. I think i might hit up the cupra R splitter

Nate - Last time i checked, i had an AWE exhaust and carbonio intake with a custom inlet pipe (i know its not a lot but im definitely proud of it) Soon i will have a stg 1 chip with a new DV and hpfp upgrade. AND MINES A STICK SHIFT!!! WOO!

Hahahahahahahaha I will not be out-done. I've got an exhaust/testpipe/chip/dv/rear DTM bumper/painted roof on tap before the end up August. I refuse to get a HPFP and won't have a carbonio for now, but mine will look better as it's cruising slower behind you [:D]

(BTW I know you are posting at work, I'll tell on you)

ggg20t
06-24-2009, 10:50 AM
hahaha my boss just yelled at me -- as i type this post to you.

Yea i am still stuck on the hpfp - the guy at Audi told me i wont need it because mine is healthy and could take a stage 1 91 octane. So i might do that and run it on 93 octane instead. Yours does look good cruising behind me, but its no match for a clean black car!! Sell me your DTM bumper a hole

I promise i will get more pictures! I've been trying to get my little brother to come out and take them - he is the camera wiz.

redlabel -- i know what you mean about the s-line front. It is so simple but awesome. My original thought was to get the s-line and a blacked out Rs4 grill (with the silver edge to match my mirrors) - - but i think i'm going to go with a chip/dv set up first
