and I'm done with my shift boot! First time ever stitching so it's not perfect but looks great to me! I'd like to do the e-brake too but the stitching looks to tiny for me to go over. Anyone ever try? Here are some pictures:

Thank you. Nope, I had no white stitching. I just overlapped the existing black threads. I'd imagine removing the stitches that were already there would have made it much more difficult.

Way to go! I wish I knew how to post pics I just got a black alcantara with red stiching boot done by shiftstyle.com and they are making a matching e brake (DTM Style) with armrest! whoot woot It really gives a new look to the interior

Yes and no. You'll need a sewing thimble to help push the pin through or else your thumb will be in pain..which of course I learned the hard way. If you have steady hands and a good eye you'll be able to make it through the existing holes. This makes it 100% easier and gives it an OEM look.

Thanks for the great comments guys. Out of curiosity, has anyone tried retrofitting a shift boot on a tip? My girlfriend has a 08 2.0 tip and I'm tempted to somehow add a boot to it lol
