tell me what you think!! and also what i should plan to do next if you see anything

this is the result of doing this on your own with manual spring compressors that slip off and fk up your hand!!!

(this doesnt look bad at all cause i had cleaned up all the blood at this point and squeezed the cut back together... could clearly see the bone... ouch ha

before i did this it was wider than a triple jointed vegas whore's vag)

buuut i got my stitches and now have to go to the orthopedic surgens tomorrow to see if i need surgery to repair my cut tendons!! fk...

lol i was so worried about doing my springs on my car, all i could picture happening was the spring compressor flying off and killing me. sucks about your hand but the car looks great. lol its a rather simple job. at least you were able to finish!

In a couple days measure the ground to fender height. I am quite interested to see what it is. Mines about 25 3/4 front and back on Vogtland Sport Springs.

looks good and same with your wheel color! Also, is your speedo still accurate? Considering your new tire/wheel setup looks a good big taller in diameter compared to your old stock setup, showing in the last picture...

his speedo is definitely off.

car looks good man. i had a similar cut from working on my suspension, not as deep though.. never got stitches for it either. i didn't think it was that bad until i showed anyone and they immediately threw up. anyway.. fuck, nice car.

the last picture my new rim (before i got it bead blasted and powdercoated) was sitting about a foot away from the car if i remember right... so that would make it appear bigger than it is... ill have to check though! (never thought of that!)

and yeah thanks for the props for the color choice! i just went to a local powder coating place and looked on their wall-o-colors and pointed to one i thought would be different than most peoples and he said ok! and did it up for me! its called steel grey i guess

but to get all 4 wheels bead blasted and powdercoated costed me $250!!! they looked like shit before lol now they look like new!

oh and quick question... i hear a noise coming from my front drivers side tire well... it almost sounds like the brake pad is grinding on the rotor or something (i only drove it about 100 yars before i took those pics ) but it could be my fender liner because its a little loose (need to rivet that together or something... )

secondly... where can i get those 'half turn' tabs or whatever you want to call them to hold the belly pan in place and to hold the fender liner in place??

and thirdly... does anyone know where i can get some center caps that will fit these? (idk if i will run them or not i kinda like the look for now, but who knows...)

I was considering doing flat black or a similar color to that on the spokes of my Flik's even though I already repainted them like a month or 2 ago lol. Your turning me towards it even more.

Looks good man.

Dude looks way better than stock[up] Give it a couple days and the springs will settle a little. Painting the front and rear will make it look even lower, imo. +1 for the injured hand, just not as bad...

The car looks good, I like the wheel color. It's not a job without some blood haha. my brother cut a tendon in his hand opted for no surgery and his hand ended up being fine. I was in the ER the night before with a cut artery, that was a mess and the blood had some good arc on it when it was squirting out. I lucked out and just got it glued because I was able to stop the bleeding. The funny part is we're twins so that was confusing for the ER. Luckily you snagged pictures haha I got some of mine too.

it went that low with just springs? wow i bet those shocks will get shot sooner or later, and u will have to change them and cut another tendon haha!
