Okay here is the question. I used the search but couldnt find my answer. I have a non sline, but have the s-line 18" fat 5 spoke wheels stock susp. I just wanted to poke out the backs a lil bit. Which one to buy 10mm, 12.5mm, i think 15mm would be too much although would be nice too. I only want to throw them on the rears so which would be better and to less likely ruin the rear wheel bearing and such. Going to leave the fronts stock 4 nowm Pics and post appreciated. Looking to get asap.

It depends, what are the offsets of the s-line wheels?

I got 8mm in the back only and I think it's plenty but no poke. It's noticeable but not dramatic so you may want the thicker ones. Here's an idea of what it looks like.

The ET is 43 if they are OEM wheels...so you could easily use the 12mm spacers for a nice flush look. 10mm is probably the most popular though.

If you're not lowered u could indeed g 15 mm
heck I'm rolling 10 in the fr and 15 in the rear on et35 wheels(which btw is usually what stock wheels are at) while rolling on HR sports. The way I saw it was you're going to spend a lot of money on spacers so they should be noticable!!
Let me know if u need pics of the poke (and no that wasn't a sex reference) as I'm typng on the phone right now so posting pics isn't the easiest right now

bblume, do you rub with that setup?

If I've got a bunch of chicks in the back there's a small rub
on bumps. But otherwise no rub!!
And check the FAQ on offsets or better yet take your wheel off and check!
It all depends on offset and wheel width. 43 is probably the fat-five offset which means u even have more room to play then initially thought with et35!
But as they say on vw side... If you're nit rubbin you're not dubbin!!

Since you have stock suspension you could go with 15mm spacers. But if you want to lower it in the future, might be easier to go with 12.5mm spacers and not have to get new ones.

Get 15mm. You'll be just fine. I have the same wheel setup with 12mm and I experimented with a 5mm on top, making it 17mm, which was perfect! At 15mm you'll be perfect stock, but may rub when you lower depending on how low you go and your tire size/manufacturer.

I'm running 15mm in the rear, and it's pretty much flush. The only issue with rubbing I've noticed is in the front, going over dips while turning (but it's usually just me or one other in the front).

im rolling titanium package 18s with H&R coilovers and 15mm spacers front and back and I barely ever rub. The look is perfect. Keep in mind that Millimeters and pretty small the difference btw 12.5 and 15 is next to nothing. 15mm spacers make my 18x8s, 18x8.5s

Yea they are 18x8 and et43... but yea i just dont wanna go to big in the back cuz i was leaving the fronts stock for now... just want a noticable poke out the back. But i do get that by using the 15mm is just like adding a 1/2 inch to my wheel. any pics with 12.5mm and 15mm with stock 18" ???

I have RS4 Reps that are 18x8 ET42 and 12.5's are not flush. Think I am going to sell them for 15's or maybe a bit more.
