you zip tied it on - sweet but are you not worried about it falling off if that plate ever falls front first it might cause some nice damage

The plate's not going anywhere.

Well at least let's hope that [o_o]

But really, it's on there pretty damn tight, I'm not concerned, those zip ties are sturdy. And yes, the caps are just painted with trim paint.

Thanks dude, I need to check out the new setup!

I'd just be really concerned that after a couple hits from the speed bumps that its going to rip off and do some damage..

Of course if I know I give it a scrape I'm going to check it out. I don't scrape very often, it's more of a backup just in case I do. The oilpan hangin so close to the ground was just making me nervous.

But trust me. It's on there tight. I am definitely open to other ideas of how to mount it though...

i would say get those whole bigger so you can use some screw clamps on it - you can still use zip ties and replace the broken ones every oil change - the screw clamps can act as a back up one on each corner should do you good

Good idea. I was actually thinking of using hose clamps at first but didn't have any so I went with the zipties... but I like the idea of putting one on each corner...
