So I just received my brand new OEM hp fuel pump in the mail. I wanted the latest revision so I ordered a new one so it can be rebuilt with the latest KMD internals. The oem sealed box says part # 06F-127-025-J but the part says 06F-127-025-H on it! Did I get an H pump in a J box or are they exactly the same? Does anyone have a fuel pump that ends with J in their car? Also, do I need to order new seals for it? thanks
btw i will review the kmd v3 hpfp upgrade on here when it is done

I don't know if they're the same or not, but i would definitely return it.
if you ordered XXX-J, and you got XXX-H, then you didn't get what you asked for.

it was shipped in a sealed oem box. maybe they are exactly the same?

I have no idea if they are the same or not, but it certainly is possible that they revved up the part for some other reason than changes made to the part (like drawing changes for example).

im pretty sure if they were the same as a J pump it would have a J instead of an H. I would return it and get the part you ordered.

Well the H pump is listed for 11 bucks cheaper than the J pump on genuin*** so i am bummed out about this.

it could just be a mistake, send it back and have em send you the right part. These things happen unfortunately :(

serial numbers ending in H & J correspond with the newer pump. I'd assume they're the same, but I'd call the dealership just to check.

do u still have the box it came in? mine has two stickers on it that end in J, one of which i had to tear just to open the box. I hope the difference between H and J is negligible. anyone know for sure?

Update- genuine*** contacted me back and notified me that they had other fuel pumps that said J on the box but had H parts in them and that the part was a direct supercession. they have not sent me new seals yet for the job. anyone know the part number for the fuel pump seals?
