edit: added one more iPhone pic from the driveway in maine:

This weekend I replaced stock Non-Sline suspension with:
The Koni FSD/Eibach pro kit
Audi RS4 rear sway bar
The drop, visually:
Coilovers now only make sense at the track. The drop from this cup kit landed me exactly where I wanted to be. I'm low enough to eliminate most, if not -- all -- of the wheel gap, and it keeps even the non-S-line bumper close enough to the pavement to indicate this is an aggressive audi, without dropping 1300 on adjustable coilovers that I would probably never adjust.
The drop, and the bumps:
Believe the hype. The FSD technology here is impressive.. I drove 4 hours through highway construction to get home today..and found that the same light caution you used with your audi -- pre-drop -- can be applied. I don't need to avoid all of the holes and bumps with this suspension as I do with the GTI on coils, even though you'll find yourself avoiding them to protect your investment...
This kit makes light-and-quick work of any hiccup in the road. I paid careful attention to how the suspension handled various road types (again..lots of contstruction).. and the best way I can describe the upgrade is that it feels like the B8 I drove as a loaner a month back. This suspension just does more work for you.
Road noise is lessened, light bumps all but dissapear, medium-sized bumps are 'muted' or 'deadened' beneath you..and the heavy bumps (if you hit them) don't feel like wheel-benders.
I don't plan on tracking this car, but I do have some fun in the 4-lane tight turns on the highway around here, and I found myself creeping over 100mph in some very tight corners -- WITHOUT realizing it. I never felt like I was really stressing the rubber today, either. This car still has a lot to show me. I HIGHLY reccommend this suspension for anyone looking for a street-worthy drop, if you don't have the need to adjust your ride-height often.
I also reccommend calling Nick @ NAMotorsports if you want to order. [hail]
