Hi,
I am trying to get the springs/shocks installed so I contacted few body shops.
But then they all quoted me different prices?

Can I just go to a shop that charges me the least and be fine?
Can a body shop mess up a car installing those..?

I mean, I want to save some money if possible so.

thanks

if the shop specializes in a certain area, their labor rate will usually be higher. also check on the estimate to see how many total hours they quoted. the diff hours and diff rates should obviously correspond to the difference in price.

around how much are you being quoted for? I'm looking into doing this and have been wondering what installation will cost

its like from 400~700, so the gap is pretty large..
Also the hours range from 4.5~8 I guess.
The shop quoted me the least was the one with the least hours as well.

What I want to know is if installing shocks/springs is relatively an easy job and if any body shop can do it..

my shop in delaware - "the audi shop" (not affiliated with audi in anyway)

quoted me 75 per corner, whether that be install springs, shocks/springs, or coilovers!

$300 is looking cheap now

I might just go to the cheapest place..
