I know I just missed the fully loaded APR flash so you dont have to rub it in haha. I read that APR usually has a summer sale? I had the test chip, and I just got some grad money though and obviously now that I can afford it I want it [:D] but im not gonna pay full price if its for sure going on sale. Im in the northwest btw

IMO, the fully loaded ECU isn't all that necessary. I have it because of the special, but I only ever use 93 and stock. If you were to just get those two programs, it would be a bit less expensive. You could always contact APR and ask if they're having any upcoming sales... If not, I'd say just bite the bullet and pay for the re-flash.

are you under warranty?

if not... don't bother with anything other than the 93 program and possibly 100 if you ever r gonna track the car etc.

The security lockout is a nice feature, but not totally necessary. (again more important with warranty intact)

i'm in the same boat. i'm having a hard time deciding between 91 and 93. 91 tester was fun! but i would loove to hold out for a fully loaded program.(come on water fest)

How much of a savings is the "sale price" ?

I would wait. The sale is usually held 3-4 times a year. You basically get the base package plus a program or two thrown in so the "savings" is about $100-200 if you buy a similar package without the promotion.

$100-200 is a cupra lip and a funk switch baby!

go to a local apr dealer, maybe they will give you a type of "discount" else wait it out.
