So tonight I met up with Greg who was so kind to take me for a ride in his BT A4. He has the ASP GT3071r-WG on pretty much stock everything else. So we met up and we cruised around for a good amount of time and then the fun began. He got on the gas a couple of times and man did that thing move. It didn't even seem like it was an A4. It felt to good to be true but it was. The sound the turbo made every time it spooled was great. As we were cruising around we encountered a guy driving a G35 who seemed like a potential candidate to have some fun with. He had a girl in the car so sure enough he was down for a quick pull. At the stop light greg gave the guy about a 2 car lengths of a head start and then he got on the gas and it was crazy. The A4 caught up to the car effortlessly and passed him with even more ease. The point of this story is the car runs great, the setup looks stock (which for me is great), and it pulls like a complete beast. ASP really did good work with this kit and i'm completely won over and convinced that I must have this kit. We are going to try and get a video next time. Thanks for the ride greg and it was great meeting you.

Yea man he actually looked kind of upset. But we were on a street highly patrolled by police so once we made our point we backed off. The G35 was open throttle the whole time though.

Sorry man but if you look at his initial post he refers to it as an ASP turbo kit, Im very familiar with ATP i thought this was possibly a new kit.

yea its not up on the site yet but its going to be coming out very soon. If you look at the engine bay from above the car looks like a stock A4. The guy runs stock ic, stock air box, stock hoses, etc... I mean the only thing that would possibly catch your eye is the high flow cat and the exhaust.

You got it red. He sais he goes to a meet tuesday night in staten island with all types of insane car ( insane in the way that hes the slowest car there). Hes a cool dude and i'm sure if you guys meet he'll take you for a ride. Make it soon though because hes going to be dropping off the car at ASP in two weeks.

Well the whole idea ASP is putting forth is that they are trying to keep costs as low as possible in consideration to the economy. Greg has a Front mount but they took it off to prove they could put up numbers on stock parts. Its obvious that you should get a FM but there whole point is that you don't need one. The car spools up fairly quickly at 3k you already here the turbo going to town. Hes at 21 psi by the way. The car idles perfectly and runs perfectly. Mark really did a good job with the tune.

That is where a lot of the power and feel comes from. Esp with OEM driveability (idle, restart, cold start, part throttle, etc...).

His price is probably much different than anyone else. His car is the car that this 'kit' was prototyped on.

ye i kinda assumed that. My homeboy bought the mild-kit from them but he didn't get a tune with it. They supposely run off stage 2+ from REVO.

Gotta go to work. I'll check this thread lata.

I think your thinking of ATP. Autospeed performance (ASP) is a completely different company.

Gpultro are you handing out rides in the car? If so, wanna give an HD camera a ride on the track a few times and answer a few questions?

I like the idea of an "economic BT setup" but wouldn't you need to build the engine internals in order to handle the power?

Just rods or did Greg have the entire block built?

So far the block is stock and this is as high as mark will go with the tune on the stock bottom end. Greg will be building the car very soon but as of right now everything is stock engine wise.
