I just got my 2000 a4 1.8t chipped and about 2 hours later when i was at a red light the idle was not steady, it was like someone was revving the engine a little bit, is this a problem or is it just adjusting to the chip?

Probably just relearning still. You did a throttle adapt right?

I'd make sure the TB adapt was done right.

Basically, whe your ECU is removed from the car or loses power for any reason , it needs to be reset. Plug it back in, then put the key in the on position (not started) for a minute or 2 without ever touching the gas pedal. After that time elapses, then start the car again not touching the gas pedal. Let it idle for another minute or 2. After that you are good to go, but you may till get some shakes as the car adapts.
