Both my cars currently have alignment problems which is causing abnormal tire wear. Anyone know of a good shop in Marin or SF for 4 wheel alignment of my S4 and 330i?

The place I used to go to in the city is no longer around.

I bring my avant to firestone for alignments. I bought their lifetime alignment, so it's free for as long as I keep the car.

in SF check out Mach III

in Milpitas, if you'll go that far, check out Auto Innovations. Orlando there is great and Ive been getting tires and alignments there for 5+ years

Both of these places are mod friendly and can accommodate very low cars

If your gonna come over the Richmond bridge just hit up TOMAS in San Pablo. Its about 5 mins off the Richmond bridge. Fuck Griffen, they suck major ass and cant even diagnose a flat tire. All they work on is Hondas nowadays!

I use firestone as well for lifetime alignments. I paid $180 a year ago, and Ive used them about 6times so Ive got my moneys worth!

Which Firestone? The one in San Rafael right off the North 101 exit for downtown SR? I have neglected getting my B7 after lowering on Stasis's touring (Koni shocks/springs) for a while now, although I just took my car in for service at Sonnen San Rafael and my tech (who is awesome, btw) said the tires look fine.

If your tires are wearing evenly and your car drives straight your all good. If your wearing down both sides or just the center then thats a tire psi issue FYI.

Firestone in San Rafael #0:

I took my BMW in yesterday to have the rear toe corrected and they assured me they could align it. Six hours later I go to pick the car up and it's still not done AND they tell me they can't align the rear toe because it requires a special tool. That would be fine normally, but they "aligned" the front end (which was tracking/wearing fine before the alignment) and now the steering wheel is centered 5 degrees off to the left and the car pulls to the right.

Fucking idiots. Time to try another place.

Dude, go to TOMAS jsut across the Richmond bridge off the Parkway. They can either bring you to OEM spec or do a custom alignment. They have done my Audi and a bunch of custom alignments on my e46 for autocross weekends.
