Due to recent CA budget crisis, I was volunteered by the CHP to donate $15 to the law enforcement fund for no front license plate few wks ago.

I dug through my garage last night and can't find the front lic plate holder bracket-thingmajiggy that goes on the grille so I was wondering if any you fellow B7 law breakers out there can let me borrow one for a few days after my car gets back from the shop.

Need one that goes on the S-line bumper since I know non-S is smaller and won't fit unfortunately.

Don't want to zip tie it since sometimes, well, most of the time, the cops here in Fremont are preeeeettaaaay picky.

A six pack beer of your choice will be furnished upon return.

I too was recently pulled over for tint.... showed him my medical excemption and a past ticket that was excused. After that we checked the front and found no license plate so he wrote me up for that!

Better than installing the front plate, is there anyone that knows a cop that can just sign off on the ticket? After it's signed you just pay the admin fee and send the ticket back....

What a hassle -- can't they find anything better to do than to pull us over for these types of things?

If all else fails ill mail you some super duper velcro. Each side has a sticky back and you only need about an 1" square on each side to hold this plate on while you get it signed off.
