Why not get the audi sport ones from ECS? I love the red diamond with the rings in it.

Those must be new because I ordered a set of mats from Weathertech last year and they were just mats and NO sidewall protection as shown in this pic. I enquired if they had these 'sidewall' types for a B7 (shown in the photo) and they only had the regular mats for our model...sucks because BMW had it [rolleyes]. If its still not available, its false advertising???

WeatherTech makes phenomenal floor liners. I have a set of the DigitalFit Floor Liners in my Silverado SS and they are nothing short of perfect. If the OEM Audi all season rubber mats weren't so good I would have got another set for the A4. The OEM rubber ones are much less expensive and I actually prefer them because of the softness (sometimes I kick my shoes off if my feet are hot in the summer) and the ability to hold liquid better in the winder w/o it slopping around.

So, for price alone I say get the OEM ones but w/o knowing your specific needs the WeatherTech DigitalFit liners are awesome. You really can't go wrong with either one.

Maybe I got a defective batch, but I'm not impressed with the OEM liners. I picked up a set with my car and the drivers side mat started to crack within the first year, but after 12,000 miles so I was past the warranty on them.

Since then (now at 42k), the plastic rings that snap on to the posts in the floor pan are constantly coming apart (though I could fix that with a bit of super glue.) The driver's mat is in poor shape and needs replacement. It doesn't look that bad, but there are enough cracks (each of the half a dozen cracks is at least a few inches long.) in it I wouldn't trust it for any sort of serious protection.

But I live in Central Texas, so the worst I have to worry about is the occasional drops of parking lot water coming off my shoes.

They are $102 on ECS, $116 for the sport, plus shipping, if I remember correctly.

I seem to think that was about what I paid at the dealer 2 years ago.

i got the stock ones...and they suck for the driver's side if you ever use the dead-pedal or you've got longer legs. if you rest your foot on the dead-pedal when your shoes are covered with snow, the audi floor mats completely don't catch the melt from your shoes. it all soaks into the carpeting. there's so much salt dried & crusted onto my carpeting it's disgusting. now that i'm in FL, i can get the sucker detailed & carpet washed and won't have to worry about it anymore, but jebus. those weathertech ones look like they'd catch that so your carpet wouldn't get hosed.

get the audi sports, they work great. Have them for 15k miles already and no wear from shifting, plus the audi logo is sick....

+1 I've been very happy with mine. Live in snow country and they have saved my carpet.
