Hi guys! I used to have a Brilliant Red A3 but I sold it and decided to come to A4 B7 community. My car is standard but I will upgrade it soon since I've bought it in very low price. Here is my silver 1.8T fwd A4, with replica wheels and a painted rear valance.Yes I need lowering asap I know!

Welcome to the forum :)
A nice start you have there. Impossible to colourmatch silver parts.....
Also is it something behind the red T or is it just for "fun"? :)

No nothing my friend. Only for fun for those who don't know :) But not for too long since a remap is coming...I like to lower it first and black out the grille.Any ideas for a budget blacking out?

I don't think they make 1.8T B7's. Are you sure it's an Audi?

In the US they didn't, but they did in Europe (and he's from Greece)

Here in Greece we have the following engine versions 1.6 8v with 102 horsepower, 1.8T with 163 hp (fwd like mine, and quattro with 6-spd) 2.0T front wheel and quattro, 2.0T DTM front wheel and quattro, 3.2 quattro,S4 and RS4.The most frequent versions are 1.6,1.8T ,and less 2.0T.

Because outside the US people actually care about fuel economy [:D]
Mini S-Line wheels FTW [:p]

A very clean A4, congratulations![up]
Don't forget to clear corner it as well when blacking out the grill. Some people here use vinyl to cover the grill but personally I'd get a professional shop to paint it properly.

Really in US you dont have problem with the fuel!!!Concerning the s-line, I work in an audi Dealership as a servive advisor and I started from the basics (badges for example).Later the car will have bumpers, door sills and flares from the s-line.The others will come soon...
plz any ideas of blacking the grille with vinyl? on a DIY basis?

no I'm just saying it doesn't look right there. Since it's meant to be on the side of the car and on the grill. The design of the badge doesn't work too well on the back imo.
What sort of mods do you have planned? performance wise

First of all a remap,REVO, APR or unitronic (since the Greek dealer is a friend) Stage I+, I plan also for a K&N air filter and maybe A N75J valve. Nothing serious.Any advices for the remap?

Do you mean a K&N drop in or a cone?
Because recently some ppl have actually dynoed there cars with and without the K&N drop-in and have seen a small loss in power. I had one for a while and then just got rid of the whole air box [up]

I thought for a drop.I dont like the cone because of the noise. Any suggestions for the remap?

i personally have Unitronic. I think Uni and Revo are top notch [up]
and if you don't like the noise you can always wrap whatever pipe your using in some heat shield stuff or exhaust wrap or something. that would quieten in down
