So its been a while since its happened. Did I need to get my chambers aligned? or was it something else.

It starts to vibrate after 40mph

Could be a bent rim, tire out of round or damaged or missing hubcentric ring.

this happened to me. probably the aligment. Though, I had my car realigned and it was still ****ed up....but they blamed it on the springs since the car was SO low, they couldnt adjust it properly.

My car shook like a bastard from 70-85 mph

get your tires balanced, that could be it.

don;t forget...when you get your wheels swapped.. the tire wear is different.. so any camber you have in a lowered car is different then what it was tracking at with before.. get them rebalanced - and drive it a few hundred miles..the vibration should go away.
