man that bumper looks sweet

anyone from across the pond wanna find a few of these?

I'm sure the dealer in europe won't charge too much more for one then here in us for a stock bumper

www.vagparts.com

Martyn will take care of you, if you're really interested. And yes, they're not cheap, especially with the dollar being as weak as it is to Euro currency right now.

derek2079
11-13-2004, 11:15 PM
ive searched that site before for the bumper and they do not have it.

Anthony

That's what email is for. Email them, they'll get back to you.

I will search a few breakers and see what they got maybe second-hand might do. I will also ask my local Audi dealer and see what they say if you all like.

Ok guys I got a price on the S4 bumpers.

These are new from Audi with a little discount and this does not include shipping or US import tax you will be hit with.

£280 that $365 at today's rate (17th Nov)

I could not find any second hand bumpers, as S4 are rare here.

Anyone have any idea of how much the US import tax would be on this? I'm interested as my rear bumper is not in the best of shape.

EVIL-AUDI
11-17-2004, 09:03 AM
It's gonna cost some pretty pennies. But almost worth it to me to have that kind of style.

docurley
11-17-2004, 10:04 AM
Guys just let me know what you want to do, I would also take in the shipping as that not goner be cheap either.

If someone from Germany looks in to it, it may be cheaper but that what I can get it for going through my body shop with his trade price.

I will see if we can get a GB going. I know we just ordered one for a customer this month, and we are waiting for shipping. Talk to the boss and get back.

Anthony
11-17-2004, 11:33 AM
Shipping is going to be damn near as much as the bumper itself. Where you save money is packing a bunch of them in together.

docurley
11-17-2004, 11:38 AM
Thats what I was thinking but it would have to be shipped to someone then sent on from there.

Rieger_RS4
11-17-2004, 11:56 AM
That would be great!

let me know on the prices

derek2079
11-17-2004, 12:55 PM
i am in on the group buy i know it will be pricey but its a one of a kind thing. i think we have atleast 5 people atleast already willing to buy not to mention alot more that are interested

Rieger_RS4
11-17-2004, 01:04 PM

sumpsfast
11-17-2004, 03:03 PM
Word is, we retail them for $486 + shipping (roughly $300-$400). I am checking to see what kind of prices we will get. I would need at least 5 buyers, so start spreading the word, and stay tuned for prices.

ahvier
11-19-2004, 09:50 AM
mmmmmmmm . . . S3 . . .

PDRaudi
11-19-2004, 11:08 AM
Damn, I'll have to think about this, just because if I buy it. I'm not going to put an unpainted bumper and rock a riced out ride until X-mas comes . . . . need some help, should I buy and wait to paint or should I wait to buy and paint?

EVIL-AUDI
11-19-2004, 11:10 AM
If you can buy it, then just wait to have it painted, that's what most do anyway. I'd get in on a lower price for sure.

blacka4
11-19-2004, 11:21 AM
oh depending on the final price I am in. if its less then a grand

docurley
11-20-2004, 03:42 AM
Someone find out what the import tax is and I will try and get a guide on shipping to say LA as I think that s the cheapest port in the US to ship to. It would be cheaper to send one large shipment then try and send them individually.

Then work out some sort of pickup and disputation network between you all.

I will also try and get the invoice to say less than they cost to keep the tax down if I can, that’s if you want to get them from the UK.

Starchild
11-20-2004, 11:35 AM
Damn, it looks really nice. Gotta love euro styling :)

So the price is about $365? Am I correct?

docurley
11-20-2004, 01:06 PM
$365 plus shipping and what ever US tax is, plus I'm making no money out of this.

derek2079
11-20-2004, 01:08 PM
sump see if you cant just ship thjem the cheapest way possible i dont care if it takes a month or two if it saves me a couple hundred on shipping.

Rieger_RS4
11-20-2004, 01:29 PM
I'm in, but it all depends on the shipping price

blacka4
11-20-2004, 03:22 PM

These damm things AINT cheap. If you guys are really interested I will do the GB. Lookin at about $800-$850 for the skin, trim, and all hardware. Shipping will be discounted as they will ship 3/box. Lookin at about $250 each for shipping.

I will wait for replies.
