A local parts guy can get me a set of 4 bilstein touring shocks for $210 new. I was thinking of picking them up and getting a set of H&R race springs. Can anyone tell me what to expect? Would having the bilstein touring instead of sport mean the car wouldn't sit as low? Cars an 01 quattro 1.8t

pic of my last baby for fun

wats goin on man? the car I sold you had sport shocks, just throw on some race springs on there, you will be fine, the shocks were in pretty good shape.

Whats good prey? Yea, the rears are pretty much done for at this point...they make a fair bit of noise. do you know if there the original shocks? Just rolled over 146k [eek] It needs a rear control arm bushing too, figure if im gonna have the car apart may as well just do the whole setup.

Bro seriously, I had a 99.5 audi a4 before this and had Bilstein sport shocks and Neuspeed Race springs, rode perfect man, the springs gave it a 2.0 inch drop and it rode better than sport stock. here are some pics of the setup I had..
