Does anyone know how to remove the lower and upper speaker panels on the front doors? I tried taking them off this morning, and they were on pretty tight...

didn't want to break anything so I figured I should ask first...

you are asking how to remove the door panel you mean?

There are a few screws you need to remove.

you cant just remove the speaker panels.

There is a write up in AW tech section for removing door panels.
Then you'll need to loosen three screws to get the grills off.

I know in my 98.5 the midrange speaker grill was actually riveted into the door panel and the rivets were then melted.

removing the door panel is easy. 5 screws, 6 harnesses and a metal hook
